Explore art criticism

This blog recruits participants for Joy Mullett's research studies as a graduate student in the Master of Science, Professional Writing and Technical Communications program at the University of Houston-Downtown.

Interested?

This recruitment involves an art exhibit at a Houston art gallery.

Eligible participants are asked to participate in 4 main steps:

  1. Complete an online survey that collects some demographic data.
  2. Respond to online questionnaires about 3 specific works of art.
  3. Attend a social event at the Houston gallery exhibiting the work seen online.
  4. Complete a post-event online questionnaire.
The gallery reception is not a regimented affair. You'll look at the art, nosh, and talk with others if you want.

It's the online questionnaires that are the heart of my research.
All data collected will remain private. If reported in the study's documentation, data will be reported as an aggregate, not as data associated with any one participant.
